Background:Decorin is a member of the small, leucine rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family along with biglycan. Found in the interterritorial region of cartilage, decorin interacts with collagen and other matrix proteins to regulate the cartilaginous matrix. It has been shown to interact with fibronectin, thrombospondin, C1q, epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), and TGF beta. It is believed that decorin also plays a role in the cell cycle of chondrocytes. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (rat placenta); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (Decorin) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-22748R) at 1:2000 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
