Background:RIL, also known as PDLIM4 is a putative tumor suppressor gene. RIL is transcriptionally repressed by hypermethylation in a variety of tumors including breast and prostate. The difference in methylation status of RIL between normal and cancerous tissues is being investigated as to determine the use of RIL as a potential biomarker. Two isoforms of human RIL one have been identified.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (human breast); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (RIL) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-6093R) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
