Background:The neurotransmitter serotonin (5-hydroJNCtryptamine, 5-HT) has been implicated in a wide range of psychiatric conditions and also has vasoconstrictive and vasodilatory effects. The gene described in this record is a member of 5-hydroJNCtryptamine (serotonin) receptor family and encodes a multi-pass membrane protein that functions as a receptor for 5-hydroJNCtryptamine and couples to G-proteins. VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (rat brain); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (5HT5A) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-12055R) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
