Background:Genethonin-1 is a 358 amino acid single-pass type III membrane protein that contains one CBM20 (carbohydrate binding type-20) domain. A hydrophobic protein, Genethonin-1 is highly expressed in cardiac and skeletal muscle and is found at moderate levels in placenta and liver. Genethonin-1 and is thought to function in carbohydrate binding. The gene encoding Genethonin-1 maps to human chromosome 4, which represents approximately 6% of the human genome, contains nearly 900 genes and is associated with Huntington's disease, Ellis-van Creveld syndrome, methylmalonic acidemia and polycystic kidney disease.

Tissue/cell: rat brain tissue; 4% Paraformaldehyde-fixed and paraffin-embedded;
Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer ( 0.01M, pH 6.0 ), Boiling bathing for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum,C-0005) at 37℃ for 20 min;
Incubation: Anti-Gemin 7 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated(bs-13330R) 1:200, overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody(SP-0023) and DAB(C-0010) staining
