Background:Exhibits antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria S.aureus and S.pyogenes, Gram-negative bacteria P.aeruginosa and E.coli and the yeast C.albicans. Kills multiresistant S.aureus and vancomycin-resistent E.faecium. No significant hemolytic activity was observed.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (Human kidney); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Incubation: Anti-beta Defensin 3 Antibody, conjugated (bs-7378R-FITC) 1:400, 1.5 hours at 37°C; DAPI (5ug/ml, blue, C-0033) was used to stain the cell nuclei.

Blank control(blue): Hep G2 Cells(fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with ice-cold 90% methanol for 30 min on ice).
