Background:The zinc finger transcription factor 'SNAIL' was first identified in Drosophila and, along with 'twist', a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor, is indispensable for mesoderm formation. SNAIL is a repressor of mouse E-cadherin transcription, with expression of SNAIL inversely correlated with expression of E-cadherin. Abnormal expression of SNAIL could underlie the tumorigenic conversion of epithelia associated with loss of E-cadherin expression through screening mouse and human cell lines and by in situ hybridization of primary human tumors undergoing malignant progression.

VALIDATION IMAGES

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (mouse intestine ); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (SNAIL) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-21598R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
